What personal data we collect and why we collect it:
We are committed to making sure your privacy and any personal data or information you give to such as your name and email address is protected.
When you visit TheTala.com we will only collect your data when it is absolutely necessary. Our website only collects your name and email address when you leave a comment or sign up to receive our newsletters. We will not share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our services or protect our rights.

- You may also unsubscribe from our mailing list by clicking on the option ‘Unsubscribe’ located on the bottom of the emails you receive.

If you wish for us to delete the information you have submitted, please get in touch with us and we will be more than happy to delete the information as requested.

Media:
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies:
Sometimes, cookies may also be added on to any browser you use when visiting our website. Cookies allow for your device to be recognised by the website so it’s mainly used as a reminder of the choices you make when visiting any website. You can always delete cookies on your browser at any time and you will find them under settings.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.

Contact Forms:
Our website uses WPForms when you contact us using our contact form. We collect your name and email address to allow us to reply to your message. We keep contact form submissions for a certain period for customer service purposes but we will not sell or use the information submitted for marketing purposes.
Who we share your data with:
TheTala.com uses WordPress.org.
By default, WordPress does not share your data with anyone.
How long we retain your data:
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any and so far we don’t have that service yet), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights we have over your data:
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
